2nd Annual Workshop on Large-Scale Quantum-Classical Computing (LSQCC)¶
Hybrid Quantum, HPC, and AI Methods for Scientific Applications
Quantum computing is advancing rapidly, and its integration with high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important for enabling practical hybrid computational workflows. In a growing number of domains, research is progressing toward quantum advantage—with quantum computation already addressing problems that strain exact classical methods and increasingly competing with state-of-the-art approximate approaches. These combined methods offer new opportunities for accelerating progress in scientific areas such as physics, chemistry, materials, and optimization by leveraging quantum computing together with established classical and AI-based techniques.
The 2nd Annual Workshop on Large-Scale Quantum-Classical Computing (LSQCC) brings together recent research on quantum algorithms, system integration techniques, and emerging hybrid workflows that incorporate HPC and AI components where beneficial. The workshop highlights technical challenges, recent developments, and near-term opportunities for effectively combining quantum computing with complementary classical and AI-based techniques.
This is the second edition of LSQCC; the first LSQCC was held at SC25. The 2nd LSQCC will be held as a full-day workshop at SC26 on Monday, 16 November 2026, 9:00am–5:30pm CST, Room W179a.
